Swiss Pass

The Swiss Pass affords you unlimited travel on Swiss Travel System’s public transport network on either 4, 8, 15 or 22 consecutive days or one entire month. Choose your personal travel route from approximately 20’000 kilometers of train, (postal) bus or boat routes. Your personal choice includes the classic scenic routes, the public transport systems of 38 Swiss cities, and gives you 50% discount on most mountain-top trains and cable cars. To top it off, you will profit from free entries to approx. 450 museums and other interesting discounts accorded to you by our Bonus Partners.

Swiss Saver Pass
Our Saver Passes make using the Swiss Travel System even more attractive! If two or more persons travel together, each one receives a 15% discount.

Swiss Youth Pass
Youths under 26 years old can obtain the Swiss Pass at a 25% discount on the full fare.

Family Card
The Swiss Travel System Family Card is issued at no cost to parents who wish to take along their children under the age of 16 at no cost. Please note that at least one parent has to travel with the child/ren.

50% Discount on Mountain-Top Excursions
The Swiss Pass, Swiss Saver Pass and Swiss Youth Pass also serve as a half-fare card. If you show anyone of these tickets when taking a mountain train, aerial cable car or other means of transportation not included in the basic Swiss Travel System, you will receive a 50% discount.

Swiss Museum Pass
The Swiss Pass, Swiss Saver Pass and Swiss Youth Pass tickets also double up as Swiss Museum Pass and will get you into practically all of Switzerland’s worldclass museums and exhibitions for free. For a detailed list of all of the approx. 450 participating museums, go to the Museum Pass website

  • All persons not domiciled in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein are entitled to buy Swiss Travel System tickets. No photo required; a valid passport or identity card is sufficient
  • When buying a ticket, you will also receive a synoptic map, which shows in detail where the tickets are valid
