The Swiss Half Fare Card gets you a 50% discount on trains, buses, boats and most mountain trains and cable-cars for one month. It is ideal for shorter trips and excursions, in particular if these include mountain trains and cable cars.

The Swiss Travel System Family Card is issued at no cost to parents who wish to take along their children under the age of 16 at no cost. Please note that at least one parent has to travel with the child/ren.

- All persons not domiciled in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein are entitled to buy Swiss Travel System tickets. No photo required; a valid passport or identity card is sufficient
- When buying a ticket, you will also receive a synoptic map, which shows in detail where the tickets are valid
